Week 11- soft skills

This week I looked at the lecture about soft skills and it confirmed my suspicion that technology comes with a trade off. In this case it means out soft skills as a society are starting to lack because of our reliance on technology. Certain elements of tasks get lost when creating new advancements but on doing so some of the enjoyment goes as well. I see it as a constant give and take between doing things naturally vs doing things with technological help. We may save time but lose some satisfaction in the process.

Week ten- communication

This week I looked at reading about soft skills and their importance. One major negative effect technology has had on us is in places like this, simple communication is less common and people aren’t exposed to it as often as before, this means people aren’t as well versed in conversation and interacting with other. This can be what separate you from another person at a job especially since in a team based environment like it where things step outsourced to different departments. Communication is key.
